While we recommend using the Google Chrome browser to play PackRat, FireFox works well as an alternative to those who prefer not to use Chrome.
However, unlike Google Chrome, which has Adobe Flash Player built into the browser itself (and therefore is updated anytime the browser is updated), FireFox will require you to download Flash player separately from the browser, and you'll need to make sure it's updated and installed correctly to have the best experience playing the game.
Assuming you're running the latest version of Adobe Flash Player and are using a strong internet connection, if you still see your cards loading very slowly, one at a time, it's most likely due to the fact that on FireFox, by default, Adobe Flash uses a 'protected mode,' which was introduced a while back as a security measure. Turning this mode off will make the game load much more quickly and smoothly.
To turn off this protected mode:
-Launch the FireFox browser
-Click the three horizontal bars in the top right of the screen, then click 'Add Ons.'
-Click 'Plugins' on the left of the screen
-Scroll down to find Adobe Flash.
-Click 'options' next to Adobe Flash
-Make sure the 'enable Adobe Flash protected mode' is NOT checked
-Close the FireFox browser, and then re-launch it
-Log into PackRat
